Taking Requests from Readers

I'm always encouraging my readers to send in requests for improvements or changes to the blog. If there's any subject you'd like me address or look into, let me know. Here's one request I got today from Mabel, Dubliner, who wishes to see more posts related to criminology. I'm not too familiar with the subject, Mabel, but I'll see if I can't weave it into my next post. Writes Mabel:
Hello from a longtime reader, first time commenter. Commendations sir on a blog that constantly provides interesting commentary and insight on a multitude of issues. I have noticed that you are interested in a wide range of subjects ranging from Japanese literature to talmudic law: what's next, manga? If it wouldn't be too much trouble, as a loyal reader, I would like to make a request and hope to see in the near future more content related to the fields of criminal justice and police work. Please!?

Your loyal reader in Dublin,
Mabel

Ian Hogarth,

Hey, I care. Don't be mean to Ryan.

Ryan,

I would like to see more posts about self-reflexivity and involution in 20th century art.

Claytonian,
好久不見! まだ生きているんだ。

Yeah, that's Ian Hogarth, the school bully from my childhood. He still pops up again from time to time.

I'll see what I can do about more Japanese-language-related posts.

Cheers.

In my navy days we had a word for people like you: "cocksucker".
Also: "communist".

Son of Ian Hogarth,

I didn't even know Ian Hogarth had a son. Pleased to make your acquaintance.
