Ok, so far my course has been mainly inside clusters 1 and 2, with the “intro to linguistics” section covering part of 3 (up to Jakobson). I wonder if it’ll eventually touch most of the list or not. I’ve seen mention of 9, but don’t recall much by way of 6 or 7, and 4/8 seem to be particularly hated by everyone.

Hi Ry,

It was good to hear your voice the other day. Today is Brittany's b-day and the family is going to lunch at NYPD (the pizza place). I know you see all this stuff on Facebook, so. . .. . I spent yesterday with grandma, she sends her love. Talked to Grandpa Cigar earlier in the day, he is OK, his spirits are pretty good. He sends his love back to you as well.

Dad is struggling with the final decision of whether to make the move to Grubb & Ellis. His partners really want to, but as he sees how G & E is doing business, he doubts them. No papers have been signed yet, so it's not too late to back out. Who knows, I have confidence that the right decision will be made.

Brett read me a post of yours that said you are writing a play. How wonderful, I can't wait to hear all about it.

I am sure you saw the news about our troops (not all) leaving Iraq. I called the AZ Rep and spoke to the front page designer, a Josh S. man, and complained that it was not front pg news. He was quite nice and talked to me for about 20 minutes. Instead they had local news, which should be under Valley and State section. Anyway, at least some of our troops get to come home and try to live their lives now.
